Description
Did this for a a story I'm writing on fanfic.net, An alternate universe 'what if' Anakin survived and got out of the mask, etc.
The challenging thing was trying to merge 'ROTS' Anakin with the 'old ROTJ' Anakin to age him, and let him keep some scarring. I also wanted him to grow some hair back. (Hey it's sci fi. Anything can happen!) Not too satisfied with the hair though.
In the end I used Gimp and juggled transparencies and overlays to get the affect.
